LMU pride was all the rage this past saturday-January 29th-as lions young and old packed Hannon Field before the Homecoming game against Santa Clara. 

Alumni and their families were upon the first to arrive to the Tailgate event. Most likely in hopes of getting to relive their college days and share their Lion pride with their families. There were even future lions all dressed in little LMU gear were running around, break dancing with Iggy and taking full advantage the bounce houses :) A true family affair!

Then, of course, our current student body began to flood the scene. Some fraternities even set up camp with their own grills on site. And I don’t think I could count the number of bean bag toss games that were in action! It was definitely the place to be before the game!

By 5:45 everyone was ready to head to Gersten Pavilion, get their free t-shirt and watch the men’s basketball team do their thing! The gym was packed with LMU spirit which is what we like to see!!

We may not have won the game…but we definitely made some awesome memories at the tailgate!
